Job has a large family in the Bible. While we are going to give him a large family, it will be large in modern terms (3-4 kids).
Job in the Bible is a wealthy man with lots of land and servants. In our parallel, Job is a football player in a country in Europe. He is nearing the end of his very successful career when we meet him.
Job loses his wealth due to famine and loss of his servants. In our version, the antagonist will spike his sample with PEDs, making him lose all credibility with the world.

In the Bible, God gave the devil permission to torture Job to test him. In our version, the antagonist (devil) will have the ability to stop time and tamper with the sample with steroids. He will also get Job into legal trouble causing him to lose all of his money.

Open up in a heavenly scene where God is holding court. Antagonist shows up and talks with God.

We never see God, we just hear his voice throughout the film.

Opening credits are a montage of Job's career (Space Jam style). Including three real life Christian football players from Europe who will come back as Job's three friends that visit when he is impoverished.

For the loss of Job's children, we will be using a car crash instead of a collapsing house.
